Moons rays glowing brightly in the midnight sky. The small rural town of Celestic was very quiet and still. A soft but gentle breeze grazed through the pathways of the small and communal town. Holding many secrets of the two legendary pokemon of Sinnoh, Palkia and Dialga, are kept here, shrouded in mystery and confusion. The town was very popular with the tourists, many coming to Celestic Town to enjoy the ruins and hoping to uncover the mysterious secrets of the legendary pokemon.
But its mystery remains unsolved. Even the smartest minds around the world couldn't decipher just what this "PALIKA and DAIALGA" were really about. I mean... were they a threat? Or should they be viewed as ominous. Whatever the views people may have.. one fact is certain... they were the ones who created the Sinnoh Region, or so its said.
The night still young.... many of the tourists were already in bed. Nesting themselves in a bed, blanketing themselves in a nice cotton blanket. But not one girl. Name was Eru Matsumoto and she didn't care that it was this late at night. It was true. The night was still young in her eyes.... nothing was gonna stop her from having a good time.
"Hello... Mr. Sun..." Stating out-loud in a drunkish tone. Standing in-front of town square was a smexy vixen with cherry blond hair. Wearing a white tankop and denim jeans, paired with sandals, she couldn't help but enjoy the surroundings. "Thats right... Mr..... you can't hide from me!" Pointing up at the moon. Her mind was lost... lost in some void of infinite darkness.... or maybe she was just drunk.
Held in her right hand was a small jug of Saki. Usually drank in small sips, Eru seemed to have gulped half of it down without knowing it. "Now.... now... don't go geting basfhful on me...." What the hell was this about? It was..... night.... could she have mistaken the moon for the sun? Wow.... she must really be out of it.

She couldn't sleep. Miyoko Yuffie Hong stargazed as she walked into town. As much as the Gym Leader had hoped these restless nights would pass, they only seemed to be getting worse. But the worst part wasn't the loss of sleep, being less aware during the day, or having to lie to Trace. It was the self-loathing she felt every waking minute. For not being able to defend herself without the aid of her Pokémon, for not being brave enough to possibly enduce her own death in order to fight back. For letting her love down when he needed her most. A lone tear rolled down Miyoko's cheek. If only I could go back... I would do things differently. But that was going back on her very way of life. She tightly shut her eyes and tried to force herself to the way she used to be. The heart may freeze or it can burn. The pain will ease if I can learn there is no future, there is no past. I live this moment as my last. There's only us. There's only this. Forget regret or life is yours to miss. No other road. No other way. No day but today!
There's only yes. Only tonight. We must let go to know what's right. No other course. No other way. No day but today!
I can't control my destiny. I trust my soul. My only goal is just to be. There's only now. There's only here. Give into love or live in fear. No other path. No other way. No day but today...As the pink-haired woman recited her life's song, she came upon a stranger who appeared to be talking to herself. Or the sky, rather. Or both? "Um... Excuse me?" Miyoko began, coming up behind the girl. "Are you alright?"

Life was good for the cherry blond haired woman. Though she would regret drinking that much the next day, it was worth it to feel like she was in another world, literally. She was interrupted with her chatting with Mr. Sun, which was actually the moon. Eru turned herself around and looked sternly at the girl. Her vision was sort of blurred..... and the dark atmosphere wasn't helping her at all, but she could still make out the outlining figure of the girl.
"Hush... hush.. you..." Hand flaunting in the girls face, body jerking back and forth from all the drinking she had done. Her mobility and awareness was non existent. Being in a drunken state has that kind of effect on you ya know. Surprisingly she wasn't puking, at-least not yet. Eru would be puking all morning tomorrow though.
To get a better glimpse of the girls face she walked closer to her. "Aren't you a looker!" Eyeballing the girl directly. Not homosexual at all.... transsexual, the girl should take this as a compliment. She was showing interest in the girls looks, but she was still out of it... so she didn't exactly know what she was talking about. "You look like a Wobbufette..." Eru pinched the girls chubby cheeks. Squishing them back and forth she was imagining the girl as a Wobbufett. "Wobbu... Woubbu!" Battle-crying as a Wobbufett.
The girl didn't have blue skin. Didn't have Chinese jagged eyes.... how could she of mistaken the girl for a Wobbufett? Eventually she grew bored of molding with the girls face. "You want some Saki?" Pushing the bottle of Saki into the girls face.

The Gym Leader was quite taken aback by the woman's words, but because she was drunk, Miyoko supposed she could let it go without any hard feelings. "Uh... No, thank you," Miyoko replied, putting her hand between the bottle and her face.
I've never seen this lady before, she thought. So she must be a traveler. And since she's out here like this all alone, it's most likely that she isn't staying with anyone either.
"My name is Miyoko Hong," she said slowly, enunciating every syllable so that the drunken woman would be able to keep up. "Do you have someplace to stay?"

As the time lengthened and lengthened, eventually Eru would have to find a place to stay. Since she had just came into Town this evening she didn't plan any sleeping arrangments..... but she always managed so it wasn't a big deal to her. Politely the girl declined. "Uh... No, thank you." Eru was hurt. She offered the girl a chance to feel like a grown up... drinking alcohol was strictly a grown ups game. Not at all was she a role model, but she did care. If someone needed help she would, but Eru would take her sweet time doing, the laziness in her got the best of her sometimes. "More for me!" Gulping down another sip of Saki.
"Do you have someplace to stay?" Suddenly the girl asked if Eru had a place to stay. No she did not have a place to stay. But she wasn't thinking straight... and couldn't remember if she did or did not. Continuing to drink her Saki Eru sipped down the last drop of Saki. It seems her supply was in demand.... and she had no extra cash on her to go and buy some.... so that left only one thing for her to do.
"Buy me some Saki!" Eyes sparkling at the girl. This girl was offering to help her out... even possibly offering her a place to stay the night... and she has the nerve to ask for money to buy alcohol? HOW RUDE! It was the alcohol talking though. The addiction and excessive need for it was open to see.

An anime sweatdrop appeared on the side of Miyoko's forehead.
Sheesh. To think that five minutes ago her biggest problem was feeling sorry for herself. Now she was faced with this. Hmph. It was true that all things happened for a reason. So perhaps this stranger was put here to distract Miyoko from her troubles for the time-being. But just how exactly was she supposed to get to this lady when she was so blasted? Miyoko sighed in her head at the conundrum.
"I don't think that more saki is what you need right now," she told her in a gentle tone. "But if you like, I can take you to the Pokémon Center. I'm sure our resident Nurse Joy has a room you could stay in for the night."
Her general rule that did not allow strangers to stay in her home still stood. It would be too dangerous for the Gym Leader's prized Pokémon. Plus it wasn't like this woman was a harmless child, she was an obnoxious and wasted adult. No, she would definitely have to stay in the Pokémon Center tonight. Then Miyoko might stop by in the morning to check on her.

"I don't think that more saki is what you need right now," Such innocence she had. "But if you like, I can take you to the Pokémon Center. I'm sure our resident Nurse Joy has a room you could stay in for the night." That would be nice of the girl. If she could get passed all of Eru's incessant whining then yes shes love to be escorted to the Pokemon Center.
Still slightly dazed, Eru was beginning to feel a bit light headed. The effects of her heavy drinking were beginning to sink in. Like a virus, claiming the rights to various parts of her well being. She has already lost her ability to reason, think, and understand, what was next? Eyes twitching slightly Eru was trying to keep herself from fainting, slightly nudging from right to left, like she was playing tug of war with herself.
Suddenly out of nowhere a silver light from one of Eru's pokeballs had spursed open. That meant one of her pokemon was coming out, not given a direct order to be summoned. Stand before the two ladies was a small tree looking pokemon. With no arms, all it had was a a huge tree top looking thing on its head, maybe thats what it grabs things with? O.o The pokemon was a Bonsly, and its nickname given to it by Eru was, Roots. But often she would call the pokemon Kid instead. Like any other Bonsly Roots was exactly like its kind. Every Bonsly had an issue with crying, Eru is always mistaking Roots crying fits with something else. In fact all its doing is releasing excessive fluids from its body, something Eru should of known since she is somewhat of a pokemon breeder. Her knowledge was limited though.
Roots stood in place, looking up at the unfamiliar face that stood in-front of his trainer. He already knew Eru was wasted, when wasn't she? Usually he was stuck cleaning up the messes she dragged herself into, which was really awkward for such a small pokemon like him. "Bons!" Crying out to the girl, in a cheerful tone. Paying no attention to its owner, Roots wanted to ignore the fact that she was drunk, he had sensed she was even before coming out of his pokeball.

Miyoko could see in the woman's body language that she was getting worse. It was imperative that she get some bedrest and start to wade through this. Boy, would this lady have a hangover tomorrow. The Gym Leader's head ached just thinking about it. At the exact moment that she reached out to help her new aquaintance walk, the bright light from one of her Poké Balls halted her movement. She tilted her head at the sight of the Bonsai Pokémon and smiled. "You have a Bonsly? That's cute." And though it was, Miyoko had to admit it wasn't one of her favorite Pokémon. Not just because it was a Rock-type, her specialty's weakness, but because of its body chemistry and need to cry to regulate moisture. Being a Breeder herself, Miyoko didn't mind crying baby Pokémon in general. But when it was for no reason but it just needs to, well, she assumed that would get annoying very fast.
Yet it seemed that this Bonsly was fine. At least for now. "Hello there little Bonsly," she said sweetly.

The Bonsly paused. Taking a deep breath it took a few steps back to avoid the young girl. But if found that hard to do since immediately after it had cringed back it began to cry. A powerful wail and tears started to pour down its eyes. It wasn't upset. Maybe just a little taken back by the girls friendly gesture, but it wasn't crying because of that either. "BONS!"
Eru laid hunched over on the girls side. Trying to walk as best as she could, it wasn't exactly working out. She was trying to keep up with the girl, but because she was so out of it she kinda forgot how to walk. It sure was nice of the girl to help her out, though she would be doing most of the work. Feet padding themselves on the ground, Eru was beginning to fall behind. Then all of a sudden her Bonsly, Roots, began to cry. "Hey..... kid... you be quiet..... I don't have time to deal with this...... stuff...." Speaking in random spurs, words jigsawed around like a jigsaw puzzle. "You should get back in your ball... before I get upset...." Saying as she took out a random pokeball, pointing it in the direction of her Bonsly.
It was still crying. Annoying little bugger it was, but still cute. Finally it had stopped crying, only for a minute though, to see what its owner was doing. Holding a pokeball in her hand, it eyed at it eyebrows forming together. "Bons!" Just like that it jumped over to-wards Eru's direction. Planting its tree-branch in her face, it preformed a weak variation of a Tackle attack on her, though it wasn't technically a classified move.
Eru fell back-wards. Her Bonsly had attacked her and planted itself on top of her face. A huge red mark was present on her face and she had a feeling that was going to happen, since that is what usually happened when she called Roots, Kid. It hated to be called Kid. But Eru couldn't help herself...... that Saki was really starting to get to her. She summoned the pokeball and returned Roots to his pokeball. Slightly angered about the whole thing, she most likely wouldn't remember this ordeal, liquor had that funny effect on ya. Eru laid on the ground, eyes gesturing up-wards into the dark moonlight sky.

Startled by the sudden outburst, Miyoko jolted backward at the onset of tears from the Bonsly. Yeah, there it goes, she thought as she cringed.
When the Bonsai Pokémon attacked its Trainer, Miyoko had instinctively dodged the incoming move. But her fellow human, being drunk, was not able to react that quickly which ended in her being floored. The Gym Leader gasped lightly and kneeled down. "Are you alright?" she asked for the second time tonight. This certainly wasn't getting easier anytime soon. With a sigh, Miyoko plucked a Poké Ball off her belt and opened it. A bright flash of light escaped the containment sphere and then faded to reveal a Shiny Persian.
"Sian," the Classy Cat Pokémon said with a flick of its tail. Its posture was tall and its eyes were fixed on Miyoko's.
"Nadir, I need your help to carry this woman to the Pokémon Center. Would you please assist me?"
The Persian nodded once and then walked up to the drunken lady. You wouldn't have noticed unless you were paying close attention to him, but the Persian appeared to sneer at her. It was for putting herself in this pathetic predicament. He certainly did not approve of drinking, but more than that, he did not approve of getting drunk. "Per." Its tone implied that regardless of its personal feelings about how she got here, it was ready to aid her. After all, it was in his nature to help everyone, no matter who or how troubled they were.
"I hope you don't mind," Miyoko said kindly as she offered her arm to help the woman up onto Nadir. "But I'm not sure if I could get you all the way to the Pokémon Center without any assistance."

She still persisted on helping the woman even after the whole Bonsly incident. That showed Eru that the girl had compassion and patience for people. No matter how much of a burden they she was being, Miyoko seemed to not care. She was looking out for the womans best interest, which no one rarely did to Eru. Eru hoisted herself on-top of the released Persian, that was Miyoko's. Laying on the backside of the large cat pokemon, Eru looked up at Miyoko who she assumed was walking.... since... she was moving. Such warmth..... light.... this girl is special.... Saying to herself.
An amazing person Miyoko was. Not many people were as kind as she was. Most people would just leave Eru to her business, but not Miyoko. She had a warm and caring heart. The need and passion for helping others was something you did not see everyday, you want to cherish people like her. Not let them go and keep them surrounded by you at all times. Though.... that would be kinda creepy... considering... Eru knew this girl was not into girls, even though Eru was born a male. When she agreed to change her sex, Eru also laid a heavy burden on herself. The minute people found out she was in fact a male they would be running away, looking at her with disgust. She was born this way... and she couldn't help the way she felt.
"Ok....," Pausing with complete silence. "I guess this charade has gone on far enough." And like that Eru hopped off of the cat pokemons back. Wait! Wasn't she drunk? What was this all about. "I am sorry to say.... im not as drunk as I appear to be." Looking directly at Miyoko, Eru felt ashamed. Her true intention was to take advantage of this girl. Hoping she would by her a drink, feed her some food. But she couldn't bare the guilt anymore. Miyoko was to kind and innocent to take advantage of. "It was all a joke! Really it was!" Trying to lighten the mood up, though it was probably about to get a little tense.
What she had seen was that Eru was drunk. In reality she was not. As much as she drinks Eru seemed to have gained an almost immunity to getting drunk. Thats mainly because she acts exactly the same as a drunk person would, even when shes not under the influence of alcohol. But her feelings of guilt and remorse for the girl couldn't be kept hidden anymore. "I hope you can forgive me!" Pleading to-wards the girl, grasping her right hand and her knees planted into the ground. She was asking for forgiveness for what she had done. Hopefully she wouldn't be scolded to badly.
"I KNOW!" A light-bulb had switched on. An idea had spursed into her mind, what could it be? "I'll make it up to ya!" On no... she should be scared. "HE-YAH!" Releasing her grip on the girls hand. Eru then began to tickle the girls abdomen, a tickling monster she was. "I'm known as the tickling machine! I am feared far across the lands!" Her coolness..... had officially dropped two levels. WTF WAS THIS! "Goochi... goochi.... goo!" Did she think Miyoko was 2 years old?

As soon as the woman's speech became lucid, Miyoko's eyes widened. Just what exactly is going on here? she wondered. Having recently gotten some experience in dealing with mistrustful people, the Gym Leader was suddenly on high alert. Sensing this, Nadir also became on guard and walked to his master's side.
Even though there was remorse in her voice, the lady's words drowned out its power. "A joke? What kind of a joker makes someone believe they are in need and tries to take advantage of them?"
When the Gym Leader's hand was grabbed, Nadir let out a snarly-like hiss from his throat.
"Hey! Get off of me!" Miyoko exclaimed, backing away quickly as soon as the woman started tickling her. She seriously wasn't drunk? Then she was definitely insane.
Its masters words were enough to send the Persian into immedite action, especially because she'd gotten out of range. "Per!" it growled as it released a quick jolt of electricity at the woman.
*Nadir used Shock Wave!*

How rude! The shock of electricity hit Eru's body. Sparking her up like a light-bulb, she found herself aching with pain at the Persians attack. "You... salmon...." Yes he called her that. What she thought was a kind and forgiving girl turned out to be wrong. Leaping back up, as if the electric attack had no effect on her, but it did. Eru was a good actress..... she could hide her pain very well. "So..... you want to battle heh?" Asking the girl.
Enlarging a pokeball in her hand, Eru threw it out. Releasing a pokemon from the ball, that meant the battle was on! Standing center in-front of the two ladies, and the opponents Persian, was a small purple rat. "Rata!" Crying out. "This is Nibbles. He is my very first pokemon, if you think beating him is going to be easy then your wrong...." Looks can be very deceiving you know. This small rat most likely had tremendous power, since it was one of her very first pokemon she ever caught.
"Since your not gonna start it off.... I will. Nibbles! Use Quick Attack!" And just like that she gave her pokemon an order. The rat pokemon glanced over at Eru and nodded, only to disappear in a speedy Quick Attack, attack! Its speed was remarkable. Almost invisible to the human eyes. This should be fun..... haven't used you in forever. Talking to herself.
Nibbles was closing in on the opposing pokemon. Its speed was off the charts, almost not to be compared to some of the fastest pokemon in the world, it was indeed a special pokemon... rare it was. Eru did a good job raising it. This battle would be tough for the young gym leader.

"Nadir!" the Gym Leader scolded. Now she was irked at both the woman and her own Pokémon. Though really not nearly as much at Nadir. After all, he had done what any Pokémon should do when their master is threatened. Of course if she had known that the crazy lady was going to act like that, Miyoko would have ordered the Persian to stand its ground instead of attacking. Simply because she avoided unnecissary violence. However, there was no reason the woman had to revert to such foul language.
"So... you want to battle, eh?"
"Not particularly," Miyoko muttered under her breath. The last thing she wanted to do was battle, but when duty called, she had to respond. That was the vow she took as a Gym Leader.
Because his master had not ordered him to fight, and this was now clearly a battle challenge, Nadir leaped into the air and avoided the Quick Attack. Even with the Rattata's great speed, a Pokémon trained by a Gym Leader would be tougher to defeat than a normal foe.
Because of her status, there was one statement Miyoko had to make. "My name is Miyoko Hong," she repeated for the second time tonight. "And I am the Celestic Town Gym Leader. You have challenged me to a fight. I accept your challenge. Though it is up to you whether or not we make this official." Unfortunately she couldn't bring this battle to her Gym, however, because it was still under repair. But even if it wasn't she might not for fear of waking Trace.

It seems the cat pokemon had dodged Nibbles attack. It managed to dodge his attack, but it was in the midair which meant it would be hard to dodge an attack. "Silly girl! You may look cute but your foolish! Nibbles use double team!" Nibbles leaped up into the air and created visual copies of himself. All the copies were surrounding the cat pokemon. "Lets see you get out of this one! Use quick attack again!"
All of the copies aimed on the cat while in the mid air. Which one was the real?
