All about the restaurant jokes were going around among the regulars about the events of three weeks ago. When some cook who had still managed to keep his job there nearly killed the goose that laid the golden egg. In one sense of the phrase it was true anyway. Half a dozen Exeggcute, which actually meant ONE Exeggcute had snuck in the night before. . . those which were of the shiney variety which actually left them as Golden Eggs. Definately one heck of an omen for the Waiter who captured them in a Great Ball after getting them with their own Hypnosis.
Reflected it right back at them with a polished silver tray.
Now right at his hip a pokeball of the conquered Grass/Psychic type existed as a testament to the adventure. Just one rather exciting culinary adventure, but what would become of King Egbert? Perhaps he should battle anyone who came into the place. It would defnately get his rookie-self some much needed experience. Yet that might bring about bad buisiness not to mention embarassment brought on by defeat against much more expierenced trainer.
Ripping apart that moment of introspection came an Absol bounding into the restaursnt. The pokemon infamous for heralding the event had just barged right on in. . . during his shift. Perhaps a professional trainer would show themselves, meanwhile. Gavin questioned his own abilities.

On this Episode of Pokemon: Trace's Other White Meat. Trace hand returned to Oreburgh City to Visit Gavin and for a bite to eat when once behold he saw something different walking into a Restaurant.
Trace hand pulled up and parked his bike after taking a rest. He looked up at the sky then down where the mines should be. Mika his shiny Lopunny hopped down from the bike and looked up at him, "Lo?" she asked. Trace smiled down at petted her head, "Its nothing, hey lits go visit Gavin and get some food." he stated. Mika almost Glomped Trace at the work food but manage to calm her before doing so.
Once Trace started walking Mika walked with him while clinging to his right arm, he then decided to let his other pokemon come out of there balls, "Ok everyone, time for some fresh air." he said as they all came out. Sparky his shiny Pichu sitting on his head, Umai his Kirlia clinging to his left aim and Kori his lady like Glaceon walked to the right of him.
It was when they got close to the restaurant all of them saw a wild Absol walk right into the place, "Well thats not good, everyone lets go quickly." he said and all of then started to dash to the door.

Absol lvl: 6 SA: Super Luck Strutting casually into the restaurant it acted as though it belonged in the human eating establishment. No trainer chased after it at the moment, which made one wonder how or why an Absol travelled so far away from its natural environment. Perhaps it had escaped from a trainer far from this place. AND IT HAD! One Christmas not too long ago, last year in fact, an aspiring but spoiled trainer was offered a deal by his rich parents. If the boy could catch a wild pokemon, they would allow him to choose any three TM's to go with it on his journey to be a famous Pokemon trainer out in the region. Unfortunately this boy caught an Absol on the basis of it "looking awesome" without caring much for the myths surrounding it or even the personality. Immediately after catching the pokemon he taught it three rather powerful TM's far beyond what the pokemon could learn on it's own at any level. For once, the power of the wealthy backfired as this young Absol now knew Shadow Claw, Night Slash, AND Dark pulse thanks to the pricey TM's. This pokemon disliked the boy for acting so spoiled while possessing no actual skills of an accomplished trainer, resulting in several failed attempts to run away. But in the end those TM's proved to be a great strength, allowing the Absol to completely destroy its pokeball during a battle using a powerful Dark Pulse fueled by the thoughts of intense dislike it held. With the pokeball destroyed, it was free to escape. . .explaining the unusually powerful foe Gavin was about to face. Only through sheer luck must Trace have been on his way to visit the deeply disturbed waiter. Unless. . .this Advent of the Absol foretold the coming of Archon? How a visit from family turn could into a disaster might be a bit rude to imply toward Trace. Instead it had much more to do with the solitary pokemon's belief that was equal to humans and could go into a restaurant if it wanted. Not any better than another pokemon, yet no less than any other human being. . . . Equals. -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Gavin watched as the patrons started to freak out somewhat while the Disaster pokemon walked through them indifferently toward the Waiter. But why? Was it some type of destiny? Perhaps related to his past trauma? Not a fire-type chance in Sinnoh! Instead it wanted to place an order for food like any other customer, but nobody knew that at all. Each time a paw moved closer to the Green-eyed teen he grew more tense at why such a creature would approach him. Panicking, he reached for the pokeball containing Exeggcute at his hip and holding it out toward the pokemon. "Go, King Eggbert! Use Egg Bomb!" Absol took this unwarranted attack as a high-stakes battle since he had no money to pay for food, believing it was an agreement. If Absol won he could have a meal, but if he lost he would have to go to another restaurant or try again. Very strange custom to have in Oreburgh City!!!!

Trace ran up to the door of the restaurant but stop as he opened it and saw Gavin call out a pokemon. Trace looked at his four lady pokemon, "Ok girls stand down for now." he said and Kori sat down on the floor and Sparky sat on his head while Mika and Umai went back clinging to his arms.
Trace looked at his cousin, his pokemon and the Absol,"A Exeggcute hu? Gavin be careful exeggcute are weak against dark types." he shouted.
Trace and his pokemon walked in closing the door behind them. Trace then looked down at a customer and saw what he was eating. Its been a day sence Trace last ate something. When the costumer wasn't looking, he quickly stoled a frie and ate it.

Absol lvl: 6 SA: Super Luck Surprised by the strange food-based attack coming from a set of Golden eggs, Absol took the hit much to it's dissapointment. But the rather rookie trainer would not get off easy in this battle of high steaks, since that was what the Disaster Pokemon wanted for a meal. Rushing toward the Egg-type he started to charge up the move Shadow Claw, making him resemble a darker version of one certain famous Zoid from a completely different series. -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- "Weak? Then why am I fighting it?! Doesn't matter I'll try anyway!!" Poor waiter, he got all worked up while just barely noticing the sinister looking attack coming straight for his only pokemon. One hope rested in Super Luck not actually being THAT lucky, for certain. Trace might notice the attack was far beyond a regular Absol's repetiore, and possibly offer some advice while Gavin wouldn't understand the meaning behind such a strong move. A look of panic took over his face while blurting out the first attack he could remember which might come in handy. "King Eggbert, Leech Seed!" Five of the eggs managed to dodge the attack while one got hit. Why did it matter? Despite the fact it would damage each of the Egg pokemon, one of those five shot a Leech Seed toward the relatively agile Absol. Such a tactic made it hard to anticipate where the seed would come from, hopefully increasing the chances of the seeds of victory being sewn. -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Absol didn't even get to see it coming as the leech seed hit him in his haunches. Soon the seed would start a tiny plant which would likely inhibit some of the more agile movements. Just a few moments were wasted while the not-quite-wild pokemon got back it's bearings on the situation. The match just might go to either side given the specific disadvantages at work. No dark or evil thoughts came yet since this was merely a contest to see if he would get a meal or not. But if that changed Gavin could find himself in real trouble. . .

Trace kept watch as he kept stealing fries they were good. How ever, the fight with the absol didn't look all that good. "thou it was good thinking to use the lech seed, that should weaken it and slow it down, but still needs more to beat it." he thought as he looked down at his pokemon. Mika then looked up at him as if to say "What now?".
Trace looked back up and looked at all the tables, they looked pretty solid. A idea sparked, "Gavin, can Exeggcute use confusion? if so throw the tables at it." he shouted then reached into his jacket with a vacant pokeball.

Gavin whipped his head around to look at Trace, whom he had just fully comprehended as actually existing within the restaurant. Not just a voice in his head trying to lend him false confidence on the level of treating Catholicism like a placebo. Yet right now the expression on his face existed more for what the older had said than his actual presence. And rightfully so, those last two sentences didn't make sense to the rookie at all. "What the Hitmonlee does confusion have to do with throwing tables? Getting confused won't help me! Geez." Shaking his head a few times he looked over at his opponent. -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Absol lvl: 6 SA: Super Luck Knowing that the chanes for lunch were getting slim, the Absol staggered despite the damage it had encumbered from the Exeggcute. Resistances and weakness alike of both pokemon had Absol with just a few slivers of health left while the Egg-type still had a third of the original HP. The Dark type had a low level but used attacks attuned to the higher-level Exeggcute's weakness. Perhaps Super Luck had some type of extra effect on the battle? Absol used Night Slash!! -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Indecisiveness nearly robbed Archer of a victory when the attack hit home on his only pokemon. HP took a nose dive into the red zone, leaving the battle at a current state of about dead even between them both. Each one of the eggs almost looked a bit more cracked than before, but it was likely just a sign of the current condition. A visit to the pokemon center would clear just about everything up. "Oh man! This is worse than getting stiffed on a tip. . ." Looking over to the older Gavn held a hopeful look in his eye.

Trace rolled his eyes and face palmed. He then took his hand off his face and looked at Gavin, "No you slowpoke, Confusion is a attack that Exeggcute should know, order Exeggcute to throw the tables at the absol with confusion then when its down use THIS!" he said then threw the vacant pokeball at Gavin.
Trace sighed,"Looks like forgot a bunch of my teachings, and from the looks of it, my little Bro is still wet behind the ears when coming to battling and know how." he thought to himself.

Muttering under his breath the Waiter started to show a bit of a temper. Probably since he knew deep down that lessons taught to him by Trace had been lost while working in the restaurant. It frustrated him in a psychological way, to the point that something which might snap one day. . .decided to bend just a little. Both jade green eyes flickered to the same type of red that the Older had for a moment. Catching the pokeball, he then quickly turned toward the Absol which was moments away from fainting due to Leech Seed. At least his aim turned out to be true as the object closed in on the not-quite-wild Pokemon. Gavin threw the Poké Ball at the Disaster Pokémon. It quickly turned into a red light that was absorbed inside the sphere. The capture device landed on the ground and wiggled from side to side. Those eyes stared intently at the pokeball. -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Absol lvl: 6 SA: Super Luck *twitch* ..........................*twitch* ....................................................*twitch* The Poké Ball stopped moving and little red light at the front went out. *Absol was caught!* -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- 'Gavin' turned to Trace wearing a slightly uncharacteristic smirk before nodding toward King Eggbert while speaking. A rare show of pride from the normally self-doubting employee. His voice had a small change to it as well. Incredibly polite, yet almost a sense of hidden devilish nature underneath it all. Perhaps someone would understand this mysterious shift. "Hail to the King. . . ." Brief pause. "By the way, he wont learn confusion until level twenty-nine. This exeggcute is still only a level seventeen." Just seconds after those words, his red eyes turned right back into jade green. Looking down into his hand Gavin seemed a bit surprised to find a pokeball there, frowning a bit before he smiled up at Trace. Kind of strange for him, to not really even remember throwing it at all. Plus the Absol was gone, which meant that logically, the Disaster pokemon must have been freshly captured within those spherical confines.

Trace nodded, "Ah, i see, its wasn't strong enough yet to use that attack." he said. After seeing the semi transformation that Gavin show, "The Archon blood." he thought.
Trace smiled and walked over, his pokemon falling him as well Mika and Umai still clinging to his arms. Trace walked up to him and freed one of his arms and patted Gavin's head, "Congrats, you just caught a Absol, and one with pretty snazzy moves too." he said kindly with that same old kind smile.

His face scrunched up almost comically at the pat to the head which was rather embarassing in front of all these customers. Some of these people were even regulars! Those who often showed up every day or once a week at least, tipping reasonably well compared to some tourists.
Cheap pokemon trainers were the worst, since they would often eat so much food, treat the Waiter only half decently at best, and then comically try to escape paying the dolphin bill. The most notorious in all the land happened to be a duo which sported a talking Meowth. Luckily, no one might accuse the two of secretly being lovers, that would just be plain nasty. KE KE KE KE!
Right about then Archer noticed all the pokemon hanging about on Trace.
"I see you haven't lost your ladies' man edge yet."
Of all things the smile his cousin had managed to somewhat soften the blow of such an embarassing scene in the restaurant. But then again they WERE family. All around them people were either coming back to their seats or recovering from the shock of a battle taking place just feet away from where they stood. Egg bomb had nearly hit a few of the customers, with just tables providing enough cover to keep them safe. Meals had been disrupted and in some cases destroyed however, it would all come out of Gavin's paycheck now.
"So what brings you back to Oreburgh? Think you're strong enough to take on the local gym leader or something like that?"
Not just since he had used egg bomb, but also the fact that he now owned the Absol made him responsible for the pokemon's actions. Vanishing for a moment, he returned with a mop along with a tense aura about him strong enough to leave his arms shaking. Just one incident like this might man his job if the boss did not take pity on his soul.
Kneeling down to start picking up plates or mopppig up food, he stole a glance around at the customers who were probably waiting for new meals or just service in general. Right now the other dolphin Waitress would get a chance to shine brightly in the wake of disaster. Perhaps he would nickname this Absol after some type of natural disaster. . .or call it Trace.
Circumstances like these were the kind left behind pokemon battles, for those who weren't trainers. The ones who couldn't just walk away or run off got stuck with the leftovers. And not the good kind like pumpkin pie.

Trace smiled and pulled up a seat from the floor that had tipped over, he then heared the comment of being a laddie's man, "oh you have no idea, i have story's to tell you." he said.
Trace then sat down in his seat and his lady pokemon fallowed him and ether sat down or stood next to him, "The Gym? No that after i get six pokemon, the next one i am hunting four now is a Male Umbreon." he stated kindly.
Trace then saw how hard Gavin was working so hard on clean the aftermath of the battle. Trace then stood up and told his pokemon to stay put. Trace then walked into and through the kitchen as if he owned the place and walked into the manager's office. After five mins Trace walked right out back to his seat and his pokemon took there respective places at Trace's side, and as his Lopunny and karlia took there spots with Trace's arms. The older cousin then looked at Gavin, "Don't worry about the damages, i told your manager i would pay for them, lord knows i have enough money now." he said kindly to his cousin.

At the mention of new stories, Gavin wondered whether he wanted to hear all of them or not. Just the funny stories at least, since his cousin had rather strange luck when it came to strange incidents. But the fact that the older was hunting down an Umbreon caught his attention. People had talked about that pokemon in the past around the restaurant, supposedly one of the few purely dark-types in the world. Oddly enough the Absol he had just caught was another one of the pure Dark-type pokemon in the world.
"Umbreon? Isn't that hard to find? . . . Besides I thought you only raised girls. Or at least that's the way it seemed from your emails over the PC."
When Archon left for the office he wanted to try stopping him from getting involved. But Gavin knew better than most about how Trace was pretty much unstoppable, which made him wonder what would happen on that day. The day when his cousin battle someone who was immovable. Hopefully a day like that would never come, lest one of his few role-models get disgraced.
Surprise came soon enough.
"You did what?! Thank you. . .wait. Hey wait a minute! Just how can you afford it? You didn't mention much at all about money in those random emails."
Faint amounts of suspicion entered the undertones of his voice, but not out of mistrust. More often than not the older had a method to what some called the 'Archon Madness' . And that was what worried him.

Trace sat back down some and started petting Mika, "Well for one thing, sure i would like it to be a female, but i want a male for breeding reasons and plus when you see a Umbreon, you can't help but to think is a male when you first look at it." he said.
Trace then looked down at his Glaceon and reach down and gently scratch under her chin, "i was lucky enough that Kori here ended up being a girl sence 85% of all Eevee types are all males, and she was lucky i was there to save her from a Team rocket Admin." he said to Gavin as he kept scratching her chin.
Trace then looked up at Gavin about the whole money thing, "Oh yeah, i forgot, apparently, Mom and Dad made a will, and upon there deaths I inherited, the house, whats left of it, there land, and all the money they saved up from all the inventions my father sold to other companies as well. Plus the secret platinum mine my parents kept secret for the past twenty years." Trace looked down at Umai and petted her one of her red horns, "Oh yeah, and your no longer a waiter your now co-owner of this restaurant now too." he said bluntly.

Gavin: O__O!!!!
"Wh-wh-WHAT?!?!"
A young teen was about to fall victim to cardiac arrest, green eyes buldging as though they were on springs like a Roadrunner cartoon. Jaw almost completely agape, it would have fallen to the floor if not physically and realistically attached to his skull. Briefly staggering for a moment he caught himself through blind luck with a tool of the trade. Most of his weight ended up shifted onto the mop, which started to slip with each passing nanosecond until disaster struck.
*WHOOSH---SLIP!*
The mop went zooming a total of one foot while Gavin staggered backwards into a chair, trying to get a grip on something solid. Yet placing his weight on it only backfired as the chair moved right along with him since it was not nailed to the ground. Just the sound alone felt like a condemnation to comical doom, one just short of a moosey fate. Feet covered with relatively nice black shoes now scuffed as they raced along the floor until the top half of him leaned against a table. A structure which thankfully WAS bolted right down into the ground.
Except for the tablecloth.
Vicious forces were at work with how that thankfully bare tablecloth came flying off the table over Gavin's head as his rear hit the floor. Now he looked like a vertible cheesy ghost from an ancient episode of Scooby-Doo. Underneath the unintentional disguise came an exasperated sigh follow by a brief cry of frustration at life.
"Manager means I'm in charge of people! I'm barely capable of being in charge of myself. . ."
