For the record, PJT was originally PG-13. But as its members grew up, so has the site. PJT is now rated R. However, most of the same rules still apply.
1) Be courteous. If your character is offensive by nature, that's fine, but keep it in character. We will NOT, however, tolerate verbal abuse regarding a person's gender, race, religion, sexual preference, or anything else. Making comments like that (IC or OOC) is the easiest way to get banned. You are entitled to your opinion, but we expect you to value someone else’s.
2) We shouldn't have to say this, but no God-modding. This includes events inside and outside of battle. If your character gets punched in the face, you will not be unaffected by it. Also, your Pokémon is not going to dodge every single attack an enemy throws at it. You can have it move to the side so that it isn't hit as hard, or use your opponent’s attack to your advantage, but you're not going to sit there and dodge every attack that is used against it. That’s not realistic, that’s not fair, and that’s not acceptable.
3) No spamming. Do not double-post. If you need to add something to your post, use the modify feature for crying out loud. And stay on subject. Also, try to make your RP posts at least 5 sentences long. We know that sometimes your posts may have to come out kind of short, but most of the time you should be able to write at least one paragraph.
4) Be as realistic as possible. We know that this is a fantasy world, but there should be at least some level of realism. Your character and your Pokémon will not be able to travel for days on end without food or rest. Try to keep that in mind when determining whether to stop or keep going.
5) Foul language is permitted, however certain words are automatically censored.
6) Please do not refer to your character in the first person. We know it seems silly, but we'd really rather prefer it if you used your character's name, he, she, his, her, etc. when RPing instead of I, me, my, etc.
7) You are not permitted to post in the RP areas unless your profile has been approved. If your profile does not say “Approved” under it, then it has not yet been approved. However you are free to post in any of the out-of-character threads.
8) Be patient with other RPers. Remember that many of these people have lives other than RPing. How would you feel if someone skipped your turn or abandoned you because you were out at the movies? However, if someone has not left word of where they are and has not logged on in over a week, you are free to abandon the thread with no repercussions.
9) NO hentai pictures or the like. You can have pictures with kissing; however, they cannot be raunchy. Be mindful that this site may have minors on it.
10) As PJT is rated R, certain acts with degrees of violence or intimacy are now permitted. However, use your common sense. If it is at a level that is inappropriate for minors, you are required to place an OOC warning at the top of the post in which the act begins.
11) Your profile picture does not have a size limit (though keep it within reason, please <_<), but your avatar does. It must be 100x100 exactly. If you do not edit it yourself, we will do it for you, and it may not be very pretty.
12) Unless otherwise permitted, there is to be no use of military, navy, or airforce equiptment. This means no weapons or weapon-supplied objects such as guns, planes, ships, tanks, etc.
13) Have FUN! This is a form of entertainment, so don't take it too seriously (unless rules are being broken), and have a great time.
