Miscellaneous information:
History: Alistar never had that bad a life. He was always surrounded by friends. No matter had much trouble he got in, his mother always loved him, if only that could be said in the case of his father. Maybe it was just how Alistar presented himself, but it seemed that Alistar's father truly wanted nothing to do with him. As the years passed, his father only seemed less and less loving until it came to point where it seemed as if he hated his son. When Alistar turned 13, he found his first Poke'mon, a young and injured Wurmple. Alistar had found it in a small forest alone. He had wanted to bring in the infant, and take care of him until his wounds healed. This enraged his father. He had told his Alistar he hated him, and regretted having him at all, and said the only reason he was even still around was because his mother refused to dissown him. At this point, Alistar ran away from home with his young Wurmple, but was found a few days later by Officer Jenny and brought back home. Afterwards, Alistar was physically punished. This chain continued on for several years. He had kept his Wurmple throughout the years, which became more of a companion then a friend. The Wurmple never evolved since Alistar refused to let it train or it would be hurt again. On his sixteenth birthday, Alistar left home to begin the journey all trainers must go through. Leaving only his memories, he walked away, hearing his father screaming "If you do this, you'll be dissowned and a disgrace to the Rhodes name!". Alistar didn't care. No longer having a birthright, or a family to care for him, Alistar drifted foward, if he failed to complete his dream, his entire existence would be in vain.
Other: Alistar loves hero comic books, and will never turn down an oppurtunity for an adventure.
Roleplay sample: Alistar folded his remaining clothes next to a bag with the few things he had. His Wurmple lied next to his bag on his small bed.
"Wurmple..." The Poke'mon murmered.
"Relax," Alistar cooed. "Once we get out of here, we'll be able to meet other Poke'mon, and other Trainers too."
He gently put his hand on his Wurmple's head.
"And I promise, we'll be alright, we'll get stronger together."
Wurmple raised his head with confidence. Suddnely, a large thud came from the door.
"Alistar, you little brat!" the voice from the other screamed. "Let me in NOW!"
"Go away, dad! I'm leaving just like you and I both wanted!"
"Your mother is out here crying! I don't care anything about you, but you better make her stop, or I'll--"
Alistar slammed the door open, looking at his large father face-to-face.
"Or you'll what?" Alistar cried. Alistar looked beyond his grunt of a father to see his small and fraile mother crying on the couch. Suddenly, Alistar's father grabbed his son's collar with his fist.
"Your not going anywhere..." His father whispered. Alistar's mothered turned.
"Let him go Richard!" Alistar's mother cried. His father released the grip. Alistar walked around his father towards his mother, followed by Wurmple. He stood in front of his mom.
"I'm sorry mom." Alistar said quitely. She gently opened his hand, and put something in it.
"One thousand Poke." His mother whispered. "I don't want you to go, but its your dream, so its my dream too." She hugged her son. "I love you, Alistar."
"I love you too mom." She let him go.
"If you ever need anything..." She continued, but Alistar stopped her.
"I know.... goodbye mom." Alistar turned, and walked through the door. The sun was setting, the sky a bright orange. Alistar's eyes brightened. He lifted his Wurmple, and put his companion on his shoulder. Alistar began to walk away. His father stood in the door frame shouting, "If you do this, consider yourself no longer a Rhodes!"
Alistar payed no mind to the onslaught of hurtful words. He turned to his Wurmple. "Lets get something to eat." Alistar said with a gentle simle.
"Wurmple Wurmple!" Wurmple said cheerfully. And so, another Poke'mon trainer begins his journey.
Hope you enjoyed it
