This would have to have been one of the most drab little towns in Sinnoh. Made one wonder what made it so special enough to have its own gym and museum. A little old mining town was nothing to be proud of.
All Shana saw anywhere were the dusty roads, craggy rocks, and buildings that were caked with ugly red clay around their bases.
But it was home. Apparently.
A year ago, Shana, (named Mars back then,) was separated from Team Galactic. Kidnapped away from the team that had kidnapped her away from her family. How... funny, the way things turn out like that. Then again, a lot of strange things happen when it involves Trace Archon.
Since then she hadn't even heard a word from her old teammates. For a while she wondered if they'd even missed her. She made estimates to herself on how quickly they would, or already had, find a replacement for her. When she heard the news one day that Team Galactic had finally been brought to justice, that was when she'd made the decision- no looking back. She started calling herself Shana Archon, despite still not being able to remember her connections to her biological family. The Galactic uniform and whacky hairstyle were long gone as well. Now all she needed was to find her place.
But at the moment, what she really needed most of all was a map. "Arceus dammit. It shouldn't really be so hard to pick out a house that is halfway burned to the ground."
Shana wandered aimlessly under the shadow of the gargantuine mountain, just on the outskirts of the city. So far, she didn't remember anything. All there was was a mild sense of Deja-vu poking at the back of her mind.
"Youd think he would give me some extra clues or something. At least a landmark. But nooo. Miyoko's up there waiting for him. He'd better leave before she gets to worried. I think she can wait an extra five minutes, dumbass."
Sure, Shana couldn't remember being his little sister. But she wasn't afraid to talk about him as if she were. Even while she was still stuck with him, she was just about as annoyed with him as any good sibling would be.
She picked uncomfortabely at her shirt. Since when had it gotten so hot, too? There were plenty of pokemon out to day, so they didn't seem to mind. And every so often a trainer would walk casually by, either going up or down the path to the center of the mountain.
She'd been lucky that she wasn't challenged to a battle so far. Plenty of these pokemon and people were looking a bit antsy...
