Appearance
Personality: Steve is actually very friendly, despite his antisocial tendency to hole himself up in mines and caves. He often comes off as creepy or obsessive because that's what he really is. His greatest obsession is ancient Pokemon, and he lives in the mines with a whole group of Pokemon he resurrected with the help of Sinnoh's scientists. He's more protective of them than anything, so he could end up disliking you if you're unkind to his friends. He stalks trainers going through Mt. Under the overalls is a black tee. He wears boots and woolly socks on his feet. He also wears underwear. Steve will often be seen with a miner's hat on, leading some travelers to think he is only a miner, working deep in Mt. Coronet...
Miscellaneous Information
History: Born into a family of miners in Oreburgh City, Steve was never much afraid of the dark, creepy Mt. Coronet. In fact, he'd spend all of his time in there. He got to developing a map of all the passages and tunnels in the mountain, including the secret routes nobody knows about.
He's frequented Mt. Coronet so much that the wild Pokemon inhabiting it are very friendly toward him. In fact, though he didn't catch the revived fossil Pokemon with a ball, they are more loyal to him than some trainer Pokemon are to their masters.
Steve loves fossils. The fossils he's revived are the closest to friends he's ever really come, since he spends all his times exploring the mines and the kids thought he was "weird". He hopes to find all kinds of different fossils someday in order to build a sort of second family. On the day he turned eighteen, his father insisted Steve go out on his own and explore the world. Steve went as far as the mines and there he's stayed ever since.
Other: How does Steve get food, you ask? How does a ten-year-old wandering the world with a Charmander get food? Yeah. There's no answers to these kinds of questions. But, if you must know, he has a kleptomaniac Anorith who gets food for everyone. from any of the ten towns near Mt. Coronet.
Roleplay Sample:
Steve yawned and stretched. It was another day in the exciting world of Mt. Coronet.
His home was surprisingly well-furnished. He had a little cot in the corner for his bed, and a hole in the wall that filtered sunlight in so he knew roughly what time of day it was. The sunlight beaming in was his alarm clock, and, when only faint moonbeams shone in, he was due to get to sleep. There were cloths and blankets scattered around for the Pokemon to get some rest, too. There were a few bowls of food out, now mostly empty, and some artifacts lay scattered around the room, too. It was a shockingly neat room, and it had a very civilized air about it.
There was a Kabuto and an Anorith curled up in one of the makeshift beds, soundly snoozing. Steve considered waking them, but he realized they may be exhausted from exploring the caverns yesterday. He let them sleep. As he was walking to the entrance to the caverns, he noticed for the first time a Shieldon nestled in the bed closest to the entrance. It was the same Shieldon he'd revived and sent off on its own nearly a week ago. So it seemed he had a new friend...
Wonderful!
