As her blow connected with the Umbreon, the Umbreon's attack connected as well, Thou with such force that it knocked her off her feet and send her flying towards the tree.
Lucky for Umai her master got in the path of her and grabbed her before she slammed into the tree. As she looked up even know she was spared some damage from the tree, the poison was starting to get to her, "Kirlia..." he sound sickly.
Trace looked down at her, "You should stop lets..." Umai shook her head and got out of his grip and back on the ground, "Kir Kirlia Kir." she said stating she want to keep fighting. Trace looked at her, "Ok then if you say so, Umai use Confusion!" he said and her eyes glowed purple again.
It drove him nuts why did this pokemon wanted to fight so much? Trace then felt the Trainee tag in his pocket then looked at the girl's body. It was then he clocked it, [color=Red"The pokeball in her hand that was empty, your her pokemon."[/color] he stated to himself.

-Umbreon, Lv.45! SA: Synchronize- At least this Kirlia wouldn't run away willingly, something he took notice of though it had no effect on the battle tactics. No actual emotions still led to sway possible over the Shadow Pokemon who continued with the attack. Right noe it's health probably existed somewhere around halfway or a bit lower. Quite good for a pokemon not allowed to dodge any attacks since the opening moves of the fight . It would certainly prove a tough addition to the team. . . and even more likely tough to work with. Seeing the dog tags on his former trainer triggered something however. Kyrie. . .But her name was Claire, wasn't it? Probably a middle name or nickname then, to keep her safe in case they ever managed to capture the Shadow Umbreon but not her. Either way it caused a sudden lunge foreward, with the new objective being those rememberances of his former trainer. The sound of it in Trace's poket reached the poket monster's ears despite the cloth attempting to muffle it. Yet on the way there, in a show of courtesy his opponent was not forgotten entirely. A move was still used in passing on the poisoned Pokemon. Shadow Umbreon used Assurance!!It continued heading for Archon, who possessed the tags.

Trace looked at Umai, "Use Magical Leaf!" he ordered. Umai nodded how even the Assurance beat her to the punch and seemed to be a critical blow as Umai fainted.
Trace looked at Umai on why she didn't attack and saw she was passed out. Trace then brought out her pokeball, "Return." and the beam of red light struck Umai and withdrew her into the ball.
Once the ball was put back up Trace was about to reach another pokeball til he noticed that the Umbreon was coming right at him had by the time he would pull a pokeball out the Umbreon would be ontop of him, "Not good!" he thought and hand the odd idea to run right at the Umbreon. Was it the most smartest idea, more then likely not, thou now it came down in order of mass as Trace even for being human he running as fast as a jolteon as is eyes seemed to be glowing crimson.
What Trace was plaining was to tackle the Umbreon and hold it down to try to calm it down, it was a stupid plain, but not impossible as in the battle with Seph, Trace threw a Crawdaunt that was over 80 lbs over his shoulder, and from the looks of things the Umbreon seemed to be the average 60 lbs, so it is possible, lets just hope Trace is lucky enough for the idea to work.

-Umbreon, Lv.45! SA: Synchronize- If the Shadow Pokemon still possessed emotions it might not contain the capacity to notice just how often Trace used hmself rather than the actual Pokemon in a battle. But then again, the Trainer likely did not understand that the tags were the primary target with the red-eyed human pulling in at a conveinent second place. Running straight at him felt more like a tactic to use against a fellow human, which aside from the difference in mass left a few more options open to counter while still pulling off the objective. Eyes glowing crimson and the speed of a Jolteon? Just who was this person? Did their bloodline. . . mix with that of Pokemon at some point? Shadow Pokemon and many in general were never taught about Demons or any other sort of creatures since only humans and Pokemon seemed to inhabit the world. He did not fully understand where Archon's power came from in the very least. Certainly a mystery to just a mere Pokemon without any openly existing emotion. Leaping to meet Trace's tackle head-on. . .it waited until the moment of impact. Shadow Umbreon used Toxic!

Trace leaped at the Umbreon at the same time it did and they both collided with eachother and Trace grabbed him wrapping his arms and legs around him and holding the pokemon tightly, it was then that the attack Toxic was used and sure enough hit Trace.
Even then Trace didn't let go of the dark pokemon, if anything Trace also wrapped his legs around the Umbreon, "I know what your fighting me like this, thats girl was your master right? and you just protecting your master's body because it is the only thing left you can do, so I understand why your like this, i have lost my family too, but would you master want you to act like this? What would she say to you if she saw you like this? please don't act like this, please go back to your normal self, no pokemon should be like his." he stated kindly to the into the umbreon's ear as Trace now had it's back against his chest still wrapped around its arms and legs with strength stronger then any normal human as he eyes glowed.

If there was any fault with his plan, it was that the poor young man did not know about Shadow Pokemon very much, if any at all. Otherwise his plan might have had more success, if it were not such a complicated matter of lacking emotions to understand or rebel against what a human or even another Pokemon tried to say. Plain and simple, these were the reasons why confusion or even a turmoil did not stir within and certainly did not show on the surface at all.
"Umbreon."
The tone held such coldness, an emptiness brought on by the Pokemon's own desire to smother and drown its grief by sealing out all other feelings along with it. Yet at the same time he responded to when Trace spoke with the facts relatively straight by nodding in a fitting demonstration of his current state as a living creature. Lack of feelings did not prevent the ability to agree or certainly not to disagree. . . it merely caused an unbias decision, uninhibited by the powerful sway of feelings.
And that was why Archon's reasoning could not work, for this Pokemon would not dare call upon his heart. In fact nothing which involved a creature looking into its own soul would work. His argument may have had some logical adherants. . . but they were not enough.
No one could undo what this Pokemon had done to itself aside from a special cologne in the Almia region, leaving it in Pokemon daycare, calling the pokemon by name, or using a purification chamber which existed only in the Orre region. Until one of those specific methods were used. . . the Umbreon would never give up its Shadow form. Even after the Pokemon returned to normal, it would have to deal with the grief it had initially tried to escape.
For these reasons, it fought itself free of Trace since it ALSO had a strength greater than any human. The emotionless state allowed all of that potential energy to become a part of his battle stats. Once free, it attacked the pocket which had his trainer's tags, then took them in his mouth before backing away from Archon while facing him.
No sympathy speech would work here.

Trace was pushed away by the dark pokemon then rolled up on his feet, Trace then notice that the pocket that the tags were in was empty then saw the Umbreon's mouth and saw the tags were there.
Trace sighed, "This is so sad, its like a shroud of darkness swallowed up his heart, if only theres a way that i could get to his heart, so how i need to purify his heart but fighting alone wont work." he thought. (To bad he can't use God's s Finger.)
Trace then noticed that it did respond to him, but it was a cold response but that means it could reasoned with at a blunt logical point. Trace then reached his back for a pokeball, "Ok, how about this Shadow, if you defeat my remaining pokemon I'll leave you be with your master, I'll even bury your master's body, But if i defeat you with any of my pokemon I'll still bury you Master's body, but I'll become your new master, and I'll help you destroy the people who did this to Claire, do we have a deal?" he asked kindly to the Umbreon.
Trace then enlarged the pokeball that contained Sparky as he waited for the Umbreon's anwsure.

-Umbreon, Lv.45! SA: Synchronize- The Shadow Pokemon used his paws to move the tags so that they now resided around its neck for one reason or another. At the very least he probably did not want anyone else to get a hold of them ever again. Only from the fact that Archon actually turned out to be a nice guy did the Umbreon even get a chance to do this in a fair and square manner. From the way he looked up at Archon with those beady red eyes which some could call frightening with their cold nature. "Umbreon." It had agreed. But then shook its head disapprovingly at the nickname. Just how was Trace not affected by the Toxic released at close range though? It made absolutely no sense at all considering it had actually hit. No trouble seeing or breathing. . . not one side effect at all.

Trace smiled, "Good then." he stated and calmed down and his glowing red eyes went back to there normal red color. Suddenly Trace felt sick again as the Toxic attack caught up with him and fell to one knee and coughed up a storm.
After a few mins of coughing Trace recovered and stood back up and looked at the Umbreon, "Sorry about that." he stated then threw out his pokeball and out came Sparky, the Shiny Pichu.
Usually Sparky was the carefree happy go time, but sence she was poisoned she didn't look or feel that well as it had a fever, and in so doing made Sparky's already way above average attacks even more so as sparks arched off her cheeks, "Piiiii." she said sickly.
Trace then pointed at the Umbreon "Sparky, Thunder Wave!" he barked. And with that Sparky charged up her cheeks then fire a blue colored lightning from her cheeks aimed at the Shadow pokemon, "Piiiiiiiiichhuuuuuuuuuuu!!!"

-Umbreon, Lv.45! SA: Synchronize- If he could get a free burial for his former master out of this deal regardless of the outcome it seemed worth accepting such terms. Plus the Shadow Pokemon had no intention of simply giving up right away. . . turning into another human trainer's partner still presented that risk they might die before he ever did. He would never kneel or ever rest. . . they could even tear the heart from his chest, after all it wasn't truly in use. No one had ever really talked about the pokemon left behind by the deceased until now. But he was probably one of the lucky ones . . . not forgotten inside a Pokeball until the end of time by a Trainer who had never gotten around to releasing it back into the wild. Should his emotions ever be restored. . . it would fight for those forgotten Pokemon. Feeling the high voltage pass through its body, the Umbreon knew that this could not go on for too much longer. Using a move like Foresight really had taken the sport out of their battle right from the start. It would have to rely on attacking stats to have any chance of actually achieving success. Any other route offered slim odds which the cold logic would not accept with these stakes. Shadow Umbreon used Confuse Ray!!

Sparky did get hit by the confuse ray and more or less confused as he wobbled side to side. Trace rolled his eyes, "Sparky get on all fours and center out with your tall then use Thundershock." he ordered.
Sparky thou she couldn't see all that well she still could hear as she got on all fours and used her tail to center out her body mass from tripping. She then charged her cheeks and fire a thundershock that look more like a thunderbolt right at her master.
Least to say that didn't felt all that good, he will be sore for the next few days, Trace stood back up, "Ok, Plain B Sparky." and hearing that ordered Sparky started firing Thunderbolt like ThunderShocks in every directions.

-Umbreon, Lv.45! SA: Synchronize- Plan B?! PLAN B?!PLAN B?!?!?!Now the fight was just getting downright dirty, since Trace apparently wanted an Umbreon very badly for one reason or another. Perhaps someone had teased him enough times for having only female Pokemon. Regardless of the reasons, the Trainer definitely had it in for the Dark Shadow Pokemon. The saving grace in all of it was that not EVERY SINGLE bolt could hit him, just those sent in HIS general direction. But that was not the only oppertunity provided by Archon's confused Pokemon. In the first attempt to attack the Pichu had struck her Trainer, which counted as a move. Which led to the following move getting used inbetween when Trace was electrocuted & when he had finally gotten back up on his feet. Shadow Umbreon used Faint Attack! After the shocking display of 'plan B' however, the Shadow Pokemon had finally been brought down into the red area. If any type of luck whether a lady or Lapras were on its side only 10 hp would have been left at most. However, in reality it was likely closer to 5 or possibly even just lonely number 1. Despite any skills or tricks he knew, Umbreon would go down with the next move his opponent decided to use regardless of how overpowering or outright embarassign it might be to faint from. But he wasn't going down without taking one last shot at his opponent. Shadow Umbreon used Assurance!!!Now would have been a good time to throw a pokeball of some sort.

With the fact that Sparky already been poison then getting hit by the Faint Attack put her into the red zone her self then getting hit but the Assurance finished her off as it KOed her.
Trace seeing this returned into her ball then looked around for the Umbreon, it was then he saw the dark pokemon to the right of him and got a empty pokeball and dashed over to the Umbreon and got infront of him, "Don't take this the wrong way but I am going to need your help in the close future." he stated kindly then didn't just throw but got right up to the tired pokemon and tapped the button of the ball on it's nose and in the dark pokemon went.

[This is the second time Trace has copied Tregad. Yeesh. >__>;; ] -Umbreon, Lv.45! SA: Synchronize- Sheer exhaustion even visited soulless fighting machines when they were dragged down far enough through their HP. If it held any emotions, perhaps knowing that his former trainer would be buried gave enough comfort to allow it. Desperation might have occured as well in seeing that Trace would not even take a chance on throwing the Pokeball. When it was touched to the Umbreon's nose it did indeed go right on inside with a flash of light. *Wiggle* *Twitch, twitch* *Glows with a red & black aura* *SNAP!* The Shadow Pokemon re-emerged from the pokeball which Trace had used on him at point blank range. But it wasn't the range or even the amount of HP left in this unique Umbreon which prevented his capture for just a while longer. It was simply the fact that Archon was currently dealing with a powerful & very strong-willed opponent which was niether hindered nor helped by emotions. He even looked up at the Trainer with that cold stare as if to mock him: You'll have to use something stronger than that, human."Umbreon." Perhaps an Ultra Ball would be a better choice?

Trace rolled his eyes, "Yeah, I guess I should have thought more about it then, your not normal after all." he stated. As he looked four a Ultra ball he patted the Umbreon's ear then pull the right kind if ball out.
Trace looked down at the dark pokemon with a smile, "Ok, Lets try it again." he said kindly then again press the button of the Ultra Ball on the Umbreon's nose and a second time went into a Ultra ball.
As he waited he called out his Glaceon Kori to his side, the only pokemon that wasn't poison or had attacked or been attacked at all.
